1. POV Rooftop and Lounge, Washington, D.C.
This rooftop bar, featured on Thrillist’s “Best Rooftop Bars in America,” is like going to your friend’s backyard barbecue (though arguably way more fun). While lower levels of the bar are pretty posh, POV Rooftop is decorated with a kiddie pool and flamingo floaties. But the best thing about this space? It’s the best place to glimpse a fantastic view of the White House.
2. Apex Social Club, Las Vegas, Nevada
If you’re looking for a big step up from casual POV Rooftop, Apex Social Club at Palms Casino is it. This rooftop bar, formerly known as Ghost Bar, often features celebrities and VIP treatment, with tons of tables and bottle service. Complete with plush couches, the bar overlooks Las Vegas nightlife. But don’t worry, you won’t have any FOMO because Apex Social Club is the place to be.

Described as a “sky-scraping rooftop bar that crowns the East,” by Conde Nast Traveler, this bar offers 270-degree views of Miami’s burgeoning skyline. Sugar, at hotel East, offers a variety of cocktails, like the Tiger Lily—a refreshing tropical drink—in a Zen space. Crowning the top of an Asian-inspired hotel, Sugar also offers Asian tapas worth devouring while you take in the panoramic views.
4. Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails, Seattle, Washington
Fancy a game of shuffleboard with your Moscow mule? Frolik Kitchen + Cocktails has that and more. With ping-pong, local brews, and a long list of cocktails, this rooftop bar might inspire you to undo a button and let out a good laugh with friends.
