If you don’t travel a lot—or even if you do, but you want to save some money getting to places you’d like to visit—it’s hard to know when you’ll get the best deals on flights. With that in mind, travel website Kayak has put together its “when to fly” list for 2019, with predictions about how flight prices in the U.S. are going to change over the months. Here are some of Kayak’s top travel destinations and the months you should visit them.
In January, Asia should be on your itinerary. Kayak estimates that a trip to Osaka, Japan, this month will cost you around $652. Chiang Ma, Thailand, looks good, too: Kayak estimates that the median airfare for a trip there will be around $712. And if you’ve always wanted to go to Bali, now’s the time, with median airfare at $735.
In February, as people tire of northern winters, tropical destinations are where the deals are. A trip to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, will run you about $496. Visit the U.S. Virgin Islands for a median price of $455, and you can go to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, for $545.
March’s deals are in like a lion. Spend St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland by spending $633 for a ticket to Shannon. Visit Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the beginning of March and enjoy the thrills and fun of the annual carnival for $903. If you’re looking for some fun in the southern hemisphere, you can go to Melbourne, Australia, for a median price of $1,004.
April’s travel deals bring us back to the Caribbean. A trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico, will run you about $256, while you can visit the Turks and Caicos Islands for a median airfare of $380. And if you missed your chance to go to the Virgin Islands in February, don’t worry; you can still get a good deal, with an airfare hovering around $422.
May would be a good time to visit southern Europe, with the median airfare for a trip to Sevilla, Spain, of $774. Kayak also says you can visit Thera, Greece, for about $743.
Europe continues to be a top deal destination in June, with a trip to Lyon, France, running you around $977. If you’re thinking of visiting Malta, a visit to the city of Luqa will cost around $965. Of course, you could fly to Tahiti in June for $1,278, but it’s going to be mighty hot at that time of year.
If you’re planning to travel in July, Kayak says Europe is still a good destination deal: a flight to Málaga, Spain, will cost about $914, and a trip to Corfu, Greece, will run you around $988.
In August, you can go hot or cold. A flight to Mykonos, Greece, will probably cost around $1,200; whereas you can get a real steal on a flight to Reykjavik, Iceland: for a mere $440, you can visit the land of the midnight sun and take in the nation’s amazing natural beauty.
Stay closer to home in September with a trip to Cozumel, Mexico, costing about $449, according to Kayak. If you’d rather head north, you can visit Ontario, Canada, for a mere $252.
Have you always wanted to go to Italy? Well, October is your month. Kayak predicts that a trip to Milan will cost $572 and a trip to Palermo will be about $762.
Looking to visit Europe during the cooler months? In November, a trip to Brussels, Belgium, will run you around $547, whereas you can get to Zurich, Switzerland for $669. Visit Edinburgh, Scotland, and warm your belly during the Glasgow Whisky Festival for $691.
And finally, in December, Canada is the place to go. Kayak says a trip to Calgary, Alberta, will cost around $312 and a trip to Montreal, Québec, will be around $328. If you’re more in the mood for visiting old Quebec, a trip to Québec City will run you about $328. If you want to visit the East Coast, you should be able to fly to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for a median price of $366.
